Precision, based in Manchester have a reputation for
delivering what other companies cannot, specialising
in cutting all materials, from cardboard to armour plate.
They were finding that although they had the personnel
technically capable to design and manufacture their
customer's requirements, their CADCAM systems were letting
them down. Two separate systems were in place, both
offering limited functionality. One of the posts, which
was manual, was also hampered by the fact that it could
only run at 22MHz. They decided to replace the systems
with a single programming system which could take full
advantage of both machines without restricting them
in the future - after extensive evaluation of the market
they chose JETCAM.
